ABOUT FARMERS EDGE

The global leader in decision agriculture

At Farmers Edge, we’re passionate about leading the next agricultural revolution by developing data-driven technologies that help farmers run efficient operations while producing more food for a rapidly growing global population.

Agronomic roots, tomorrow’s technology

Helping farmers run better businesses and grow more food through the use of technology has always been at the centre of what we do.

Our story began in 2005 with the vision of two agronomists, Wade Barnes and Curtis McKinnon. Not only did they see the amazing potential of variable rate technology, they saw the future of agriculture. A future where data drives the decisions growers make, helping them run efficient operations while also producing more food for a growing population.

Today, that future is now a reality. With over 550 employees in five countries, Farmers Edge is advancing modern agriculture through the use of field-centric data collection and advanced machine learning. Farmers Edge growers are putting their data to work with powerful tools available at their fingertips. They are making better decisions that help them grow more while saving time and money.

With many more technological advances on the horizon, Farmers Edge has positioned itself as an independent leader helping growers navigate and find success through the next agricultural revolution.
