Farmers Edge Inc. announced today that it has entered into agreements with certain of its existing shareholders and Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel Ltd. that would result in Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (TSX:FFH), through certain of its subsidiaries, becoming a major shareholder in Farmers Edge. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
